You Can Lose Weight in a Week

Chances are your metabolism is not functioning as it should because it may have been used and abused, not knowing whether to prepare for a feast or famine. 

The best thing that you can do for your body (mind and soul too) is stop dieting. Eat when you next feel real physical hunger. You will be able to lose weight in a week and continue to lose weight, without creating an internal battle with yourself. 

Here is how to start:

  • Identify your hunger as physical or emotional.
  • If it is physical, and you will know this because your hunger will creep up on you instead of a sudden "I feel hungry" feeling, then decide what you really  want to eat.
  • Don't let yourself get too hungry as you will not want to eat what you truly desire. You will want something quick and fast and are more likely to overeat. 
  • Eat until you are comfortably full - you can go back for more later if you want.
  • You don't need to stick to meal times. Eat when you are physically hungry. If this happens at an inconvenient time (eg. you are at work), eat a light meal beforehand. 
Remember it is hard to judge the food you really want if you have no real physical hunger or you are too hungry.  You are most likely to eat low quality or fast food, which equates to poor quality fuel for your body.

Once you start listening to your body instead of fighting it, you will lose weight in a week without even trying.
